The Eleventh Design & Research Institute of IT Co., Ltd (EDRI for short) is a general Class A design institute which major business is engineering design, engineering consultation, construction supervision and lump-sum contract project, and also extend its business to the product development, production, installation and service of serial air- condition. EDRI is a holding company of China Information Industry Corporation which holds Class A design licenses of electronic project of electronic communication broadcast & television Industry, construction project of construction industry, pharmaceutical project of chemical industry and petrochemical industry, public facility (environmental sanitary), military industry ( optics, photoelectric and electronic project) and Class A business licenses of property estimate consultation lump-sum project, project supervision, environmental estimate , Class A design license of electronic communication broadcast & television industry communication project (wireless communication, communication tower) , broadcast & television project, chemical petrochemical pharmaceutical industry, agricultural forestry industry & stockbreeding( vaccine product factory), and machine , light textile (textile, electronic appliances and machine) ,public facility (water supply ,drainage), (scenery garden ) .
EDRI has successively take on about 1900 project of design, consultation , supervision and lump-sum project, has accumulated professional technological superiority in large area, high level classifying air-condition system, ultra pure industry gas system, ultra pure water system, automatic control system , data communication system and static prevent, vibration prevent, electromagnetic pollution control which required by large-scale integrate circuit , optical fiber & cable, pharmaceutical project and electronic project ,etc. EDRI has successively cooperate with famous foreign design company or separately designed Shanghai Huahong NEC( 909 project), Tianjin Motorola (MOS-17 project) , Shanghai Beiling , Shanghai Advanced Semiconductor, Beijing SMIC, Shanghai TSMC, Suzhou Hejian, Leshan Phoenix, Shenzhen SI, Shanghai SMIC Fab 8, Fab 9, and Fab 10, Green Mountain Integrated of Nantong, Wuxi Hynix, Changzhou Nanotech, etc. dominant integrate circuit project design. Furthermore in the area of optical fiber and cable, biological pharmacy, animal vaccine EDRI also has its great influence ,it has successively provided professional design for Wuhan Yangtze, Wuhan Post & Telecommunication Science Research Institute, Zhongkang Optical cable, Shanghai Lucent , Datang Telecommunication, Germany Bayer, Shenzhen Biological valley of PK University, Shenzhen Biological Incubation Base, Beijing Virus Technology Center, Yian Yangsen, Medical Facility Factory of Najing city , Chongqing Yaoyou etc. domestic famous enterprises in optical communication and biological pharmacy industry, and enjoys great reputation. From 1980 to this year, EDRI has awarded 167 Outstanding Design Prize and Technology Advancement Prize , included 33 national prize , 134 ministry and provincial prize.

EDRI’s head office is located in Chengdu, it has established 14 branches in Beijing, Shanghai(Pueast&Puwest), Tianjin, Chongqing, Shenzhen, Wuhan, Nanjing, Suzhou, Wuxi, Dalian , Mianyang,Xiamen and Chengdu West Hi-Tech Zone.
