“Three Standards” Management System Authentication Certificates Awarded in Chengdu Headquarters of EDRI
At
9:00 am, 29, Jun, 2005, the awarding ceremony of “Three Standards”
management system authentication certificate was held in the conference room
at Floor 3 in EDRI Chengdu Headquarters, presided by Mr Zheng Bingxiao,
Chief Technical Supervisor. The members who attended the ceremony include:
Mr Fu Shiqian, Chairman of the Boards and General Manager of Sichuan Three
Gorges Authentication Co., Ltd.(hereinafter called “Three Gorges Co.”),
Manager Li and Mr Zhangyingfeng from Marketing Department of Three Gorges
Co., Mr Zhao Zhenyuan, Chairman of the Boards, President and Secretary of
the Communist Party Committee of EDRI, Mr Chen Xiaohua, Standing Vice
President and Vice Secretary of the Communist Party Committee of EDRI, Mr
Yan Yibing, Fulltime Director of CEC, Mr Hexianxi, Vice Administrative
President of EDRI,Mr Feng Xiaokang, Chief Supervisor of EDRI, Mr Zheng
Bingxiao, Chief Technical Supervisor, part of middle-level management
personnel, as well as all the administrative staff.
The ceremony was simple but grand. First of all, Mr Fu Shiqian, on behalf of Three Gorges Co., awarded the three authentication certificates of quality management system, environment management system, and occupational health and safety management system to President Zhao Zhenyuan. The certificates will take effect from 5, Jun, 2005, with a validity period of three years. Then, Chairman Fu Shiqian gave an address, and expressed great congratulations on EDRI’s passing the authentication and obtaining the permission to register, and he thinks that EDRI has went through a long way to get the certificates, which are the strategic decisions and measures of the management level with Mr Zhao Zhenyuan as the head, as well as the fruit achieved by EDRI’s whole staff through great efforts, and which indicate that EDRI’s quality, environment, occupational health and safety management has sprung into a new stage, which has fastened the progress of lining with international practice, as well as setting up a model for the survey and design industry. He said that, the “Three Standards” certificates are great intangible assets, and EDRI should cherish them and treasure them, and he hoped that EDRI takes the authentication as a starting point, and achieve good management with strict requirements, and makes the three management systems operate in a more sustaining and efficient way.
President Zhao also made an important speech regarding the award of the certificates. He said that, though EDRI is the first one to pass the authentication of “three standards” in survey and design industry, it is only the start, It will be a hard process to put the three standards into practice, and we have to carry them out deep into each branch office and each project team. “Three certificates” is the pass for EDRI to line with international practice, which will enormously promote the work of EDRI in all aspects, and we have to line with international standards in thinking, in conception, as well as in methodology, and exert great efforts to achieve the goal of “keeping the revenue at 0.6 billion and striving for 0.8 billion”.
Both the addresses by Chairman Fu Shiqian and the speech by President Zhao zhenyuan have won warm applause. The ceremony was finished in a satisfactory manner.
