A Successful Visitation to America by a Delegation Leaded by President Zhao Zhenyuan

President Zhao Zhenyuan visited America from July 9 to July 17 of 2005, with a delegation of chief engineer Yao Wei, microelectronics chief supervisor Wang Yibo, vice president of Beijing office Yuan Shiwei. The delegation had broad contact in Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Portland. In Los Angeles and San Francisco, the delegation have investigated a few Hi-tech companies, and reached agreement on cooperation. They were warmly welcomed by CH2MHILL President James F. Ferris, IDC President George N. Lemmon, IDC vice President Randall L. Smith and IDC senior vice President John Palmer. IDC guided the delegation to visit jobsite and had a frank communication on cooperation. The visitation promotes the cooperation. President Zhao Zhenyuan expressed heartfelt appreciation to James F. Ferris, who just arrived from Denver. And Mr. Zhao expected James F. Ferris & George N. Lemmon visit China if possible and they accepted the invitation willingly.

During being interviewed by editorial board of EDRI website, President Zhao Zhenyuan had said: it was a successful trip, knowledgeable trip, and development drip, we had established new relationship with American hi-tech companies, American economy maintains a strong momentum, which is a driving force to EDRI sustainable development. Result of visitation is fruitful and impact is far-reaching.
